In the contemporary world, people leverage all their potential for a better quality of life. To achieve their basic and secondary needs, people prefer to stay late in offices. This practice might be beneficial for better revenue generation. But have you ever realized that taking an extra workload creates some male adjustments in our daily lives?

Although physical practices have a deep connection with our inner satisfaction and mental health. But always relying on physical exercise is not the best way for work-life balance. So, today we are going to know some differences between physical health and mental health and their effects on our daily lives, too. Apart from that, we are going to discuss some tips that will be gonna make you inner satisfied.

Physical health:

Physical health refers to our body, which is made of our flesh and mass. This includes the condition of our body’s functionalities, how our hands, legs, kidneys, heart, and other body parts function well. Others can see our physical conditions easily. People have a great awareness of physical well-being

Mental health:

Mental health, on the other hand, refers to our inner health, our emotions towards outer and inner conditions, as well as our psychological and social well-being. We can’t measure it ourselves, nor can others see our emotions easily. Furthermore, people have less awareness about mental conditions and their effects on our daily lives. In some eastern cultures, poor mental conditions are seen as taboo to discuss with others and therapists as well.

Attention towards mental health:

Nowadays, we all spend our time in gyms and playgrounds to make a healthier body. But, rare of us take steps for our mental exercises, to avoid unnecessary stress, depression, anxiety, and uncontrollable thoughts. As a result, the inner issues are becoming global issues. Uncontrolled mental issues also create physical illness, burnout, and poor social and personal relations as well.

Brain well being

Balanced approach for a balanced life:

Now, we have a quest. Which side of our life inner or outer body we need to focus more on? Do I need to focus on the brain’s wellness over the body’s functionalities, or must I prefer my body first ?. The appropriate answer should be a balanced approach between them.

I know how to relax my body, but unaware of brain exercises.

So, here we are going to discuss some practices, which might be beneficial for mental relaxation.

Gratitude.

Almost every individual in this world is not satisfied with their conditions. So, we mostly wish for a better life than what we have, we compare our economic and social conditions with other who have better opportunities. On the other hand, we ignore what we are already blessed with. This approach might create inferiority among ourselves.

Practice deep breathing:

Almost every psychological method includes deep breathing for relaxation. Deep breathing calms your entire body and which gives you short glimpses of mental relaxation as well. Try a method known as, 4-7-8 method. Inhale for 4 seconds, hold that for 7 seconds, and then exhale for 8 seconds. Repeat the process as you can.

Spend time in nature:

Scheduling a short walk in a park, garden, or mountain can boost your energy. Make a full trip on weekends if possible. Taking a short break and spending your time with nature makes your body alive and refreshed, gives energy for work, and improves your mental clarity.

Paste your thoughts on paper:

Writing down your worries can solve half the problems in your life. Write down your thoughts that make you uncomfortable. Also write down your achievements, or things that you are grateful for, this makes you makes you inner satisfied.

Limit your social media:

Excessive usage of social media and screen time harms both your physical and mental health. Physically, it is not good for our eyes. Mentally, social media reels shape our perception and thoughts towards our own lives, especially in a negative way. So, avoid associating yourself with social media characters.

Talk and listen:

Discuss your worries with a trustworthy person. Either your friend, family member, or colleague. Listen to others as well. Listening a problems makes them disappear sometimes.

Meditation.

Regular meditation and yoga give you a chance to know your inner self. Meditations enable you to enjoy the present to the fullest. Save you from past worries and future anxieties.

There are countless ways for mental relaxation, but that depends on ourselves how much we grab them. Although we are conscious enough of our physical health, but ignore other aspects of life. Both physical health and mental wellness have a great impact on our lives. That’s why always try to know yourself, go through an introspection. For inner satisfaction and peace, practice gratitude, take short breaks from work, spend time in nature, and make positive relations.
